Installation

Installation Options

  • Install from JetBrains IDE (latest version):
    1. On IDEA menu: Settings (⌘, | Ctrl+⇧+S) → Plugins → Browse repositories… → Search: .log → Install Plugin. Restart may be required.

or

  • Manual installation (any version):
    1. Download relevant released version from .log versions page on Jetbrains Marketplace
    2. On IDEA menu: Settings (⌘, | Ctrl+⇧+S) → Plugins → Install plugin from disk… → Select previously downloaded zip file. Restart may be required.

Version Compatibility

.log plugin latest versions are usually compatible with latest IDEA versions. Relevant version compatible with your IDE version would be suggested by IDEA plugin manager. Please refer to .log versions page on Jetbrains Marketplace for compatibility matrix with JetBrains IDE versions.

EAP versions

Some feature/bugfixes are first released as EAP versions

EAP versions installation options:

#1 From Jetbrains plugin manager

  • Settings → Plugins → Gear Icon on top → Manage Plugin Repositories → + sign → set this url: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugins/eap/25828

#2 Manual Installation

  • Download relevant version from EAP distribution channel
  • Open Settings → Plugins → Gear Icon on top → Install Plugin from Disk
